Hi Folks,

We apologize for the short notice but we have a few events coming up in the next two weeks. First we have Pysanky Egg Decorating with Leisa  on Sunday March 25th from 1-3pm which we’ve had good turnouts for the last few years. If you’re not familiar with her she did the large painting we have of hands in earth that used to hang in the Belfast Co-Op Produce Section and we currently have in our feed section. Everyone welcome!

We also have another Soap Making Workshop with Lally Broch Farm coming up on the 31st as well at 2:00pm. If you are interested in attending just click on the links!

Hi Folks,
So here’s a juxtaposition for you, we’ve got almost two feet of snow in places and we’ve received our second local greens delivery here at the Co-Op. This time it was half pound bags of spinach, also from Stubborn Ox Farm right here in brooks. We’ve also brought in a couple more Organic Red Wines to go with the spinach!

So we still have steady snow coming down and we probably have around 18 inches where we are so we are going to try for a tentative open at 12:00pm. We’ll keep you in the loop if anything changes. Be safe out there.

Hi Folks,

Due to the impending storm we’re not going to open this afternoon at 2:00pm. Though it’s starting later than expected we don’t want our volunteers out on the road in what’s supposed to be the worst part of the storm. We’re also monitoring for tomorrow’s hours (we may still be digging out for a bit) so check back for updates. Everyone be safe and we’ll hopefully see you all tomorrow.
