Annual Meeting

Thank you everyone for coming out last night for a wonderful pot luck and annual meeting. We appreciate you taking the time out of busy schedules to come discuss the future and direction of our Co-op. We would like to reiterate that if you have any additional comments or concerns please feel free to speak to any of the board members or Matthew as well. Per the discussion from last night please find the link below for the online signup for volunteer shifts. If you have questions regarding how to use it please feel free to speak to Becky Weaver our hard working volunteer coordinator or e-mail her at mrebeccaweaver@gmail.com. Thank you again to everyone that came last eve and we hope that with your continued support the co-op will overcome all challenges.

Message from Kim Jacobs, Board President

Yes! Thanks so much for coming. – And for those that couldn’t make it – we did have some people sign up to take on some of the very crucial committee work that needs to be done, but only a few and we need a lot more! Please be thinking what talents and passions you have and in what area you could apply them.- We need help with Fundraising (grant writing! and crowd sourcing, membership drives etc.) Events, Marketing (advertising, outreach to the community, social media) (merchandising – product selection – display and signage) Policy committee (see sidebar)the list goes on! Perhaps some of those sound interesting to you! Contact me- Kim atzephyrhill@fairpoint.net Thanks!!!

2016 Annual Report

Hi, Co-op and community members! The Marsh River Co-op Annual Report for 2016 is available here: mrc-annual-report-2015-2016-final

If you have trouble viewing the report, don’t worry – all Co-op member owners will be getting a copy in the (snail) mail in the next few days.

We have a lot to celebrate two years after opening. But we also face challenges. We ask all Co-op members to look through the Annual Report to familiarize themselves with the challenges, and then come to the Annual Meeting on Sunday, Nov 13, 4:00pm at the Co-op, to participate in the discussion. AND enjoy the delicious potluck food!
