Hey Folks,
4th of July is this coming Monday and we are looking for a some more folks to walk in the parade with our banner and maybe some posters. We have a small cadre of folks that are walking right now but we’d love to get a few more people to represent the Co-op (or local food and economy). The Co-op will also be providing Free Popcorn on the porch during the parade itself!

We’ve posted the timeline for the holiday weekend below (Thanks Melissa) so everyone has a chance to look at it ahead of time!
“Saturday, July 2: There will be a Chicken Barbecue in the Community Park hosted by the Roberts family. Start time is noon and tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Town Office. This is a fundraiser for the park. Fireworks begin at dark.
Monday, July 4: The parade begins at 10 a.m. with line-up starting at 9 a.m. The Ladies Fellowship will be serving coffee and muffins at the Varney Building in the morning.”
