Hey Everyone,
Just popping out a quick note that we got our first batch of pumpkins for this year (It’s a bit early but I think everything is this year). These were grown using organic practices by one of our members children!

Hey Folks,
It’s time for a new item list as well as we are looking for a few things for the Co-op so we figured we’d put them out to the universe;
If you are able to help with either of these items please reach out to volunteermarshriver@gmail.com!
And without further adieu please find our new item list below!

Hey Everone,
We wanted to let you know that we’ve received a missive from Night Moves that they will no longer be delivering to our location for the foreseeable future until they can increase capacity. This is truly unfortunate but we understand the difficulties of running a small business so we wish them the best and we hope to see them again in the near future. In light of this change we’d love to hear from folks about any other bakeries you think we should reach out to, please let us know in the comments!

Hey Folks.
We hope you are surviving this hot weather as best you can. It’s been brutal out there the last few days.
First up we are looking for someone that might potentially be will to take a road trip to the Lewiston/Auburn area at some point. We’ve located a refrigerated bakery case and before we inquire if it is still available we wanted to see if anyone would be willing to make the trip? Would probably need a truck and we would of course pay for gas/wear and tear. Please email marshriverordering@gmail.com if you might be willing to make the run!
Long overdue again is our new items list!
And just in today from Marshall Wharf in Belfast

To our valued membership and customers;
Effective 06/24/2021 the Marsh River Cooperative will no longer be requiring masks for our customers/members in the store (We are moving to Masks Recommended at this time). At the last board meeting the board and management established a set of gating metrics for relaxing our mask requirement (this included but was not limited to case rates and vaccination rates). As of 06/23/2021 all of the necessary criteria have been met for us to loosen our requirements.
We will continue to strongly recommend that our staff/volunteers continue to mask while they are on the sales floor. Our first and foremost priority is ensuring the safety & wellbeing of those individuals who have worked so hard to keep the Co-op going.
We will continue to offer curbside service to those individuals that don’t feel comfortable coming into the store.
We will continue to evaluate the information available on an ongoing basis and if the situation on the ground changes for the worse we reserve the right to reintroduce our masking requirement.
If you have any issues or concerns regarding this change please feel free to speak to the board or management. You are welcome to email marshrivercooperative@gmail.com if you would like to provide comments.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding over the last year and we are looking forward to a great summer!
Sincerely,
MRC Board and Management
