Some Sad News About One of Our Local Vendors : Suecakes

Hi Folks,

We were notified this morning that this coming week will be the last week for Suecakes in your Co-op. We’re not sure yet what the future will bring for her bakery items but please find her post below for more info.

Suecakes is at Suecakes.
16 hrsBelfast, ME

I would like to start off by personally thanking every. single. one. that has ever been curious, hungry, or tempted enough to step into my bakery juice bar. It has been your support in the bizarre yet delicious creations I’ve made there that has kept it – and my vision, as crazy as it may have been – going so long. I would also like to give a huge shout-out to my amazing staff for their dedication and hard work helping me along the way….COULD NOT have done it without you!!!! It is my deep regret to announce that I will be closing the storefront in beautiful downtown Belfast, Maine.

I will do my best to keep regular hours this coming week, but this is the final full week and my apologies for the short notice. If there is enough interest, I will open once more on Valentine’s Day, Thursday February 14th….so please let me know!

I have worked so hard, given all that I had, and sacrificed so much through the years building what this business has become – I am extremely thankful for everything! – and so I truly feel this is not the end. suecakes! will manifest in another magically wonderous way, but for now, I need time to rest and refill myself before moving forward in the next venture, whatever it may be. So please continue to follow this format for any upcoming news or events. This is a very tender time for me and again THANK YOU doesn’t sound like enough but I guess it will have to do for now. Best Wishes! ….til next time.
