Spread the word: Rural Living Night

Hey Folks,

Just popping out a quick note to spread the word from one of our local organizations!

Join us for this online event! Even though we are not able to gather for our traditional Rural Living Day this year, the Waldo County Extension Association is pleased to offer this opportunity to come together on Zoom.
Please tell your friends and communities about this event and share it by email and on Facebook.

Rural Living Night, Tuesday, April 13th, 3:00-6:30 p.m.

3:00–4:30 pm: Grandmother’s Gift – Skomon (corn)
Shiwa Noh, from Nibezun, will speak about what it means to plant the original Wabanaki varieties of corn to connect to the ancestors, to bring healing through the ceremonies, to bring sovereignty, and rediscover the ancestral way of preparing the corn.
